Personal Data
According to Art. 4 Nr. 1 GDPR, personal data "means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person". We collect the personal data you enter in the registration form and the results submission forms solely for the purpose of conducting this competition. We ask people below the age of 18 to submit their data only after consent of their parents or their legal guardian.
Data Use
Only data entered explicitly via the registration form, the prediction game form or the results submission form and sent after accepting the data protection policy will be collected by us and processed to conduct this competition and the prediction game. To conduct this competition we will publish Name, WCA ID (if available), your nationality and the events you register for as well as the results after the competition on the website. This data will be available for everyone and will stay public. E-Mail addresses will not be made public and are only needed for contacting you. In case of e-mail traffic with you we may also save the contents of these conversations. Addresses will only be requested in order to send the prizes to the winners and not made public. Collected data will not be processed except for the intended purposes stated above, not made public or available to third parties in any other form than the intended and not used for further purposes without your consent. This website contains links to other websites of other providers; we cannot take any responsibilites for their contents and this data protection policy does not extend to these websites.
Rights
Every competitor has the right to information (article 15 DSGVO), right to rectification (article 16 DSGVO), right to deletion (article 17 DSGVO), right to restriction of processing (article 18 DSGVO), right to data portability (article 20 DSGVO) and the right to object (article 21 DSGVO).
