Hello Guys, here is a short update!

We have some good news for everybody, who wants to come to the Austrian Open 2017!
There are a few spots left, so we open the registration again! If you would like to participate, here is your second chance!

ATTENTION! Once more we want to point out that we just have limited space, also if you would like to bring a guest, you have to register them as well! Those spots are limited as well.

No matter if you register as a competitor or guest, you will get a confirmation e-mail from us, so if you don’t have a positive confirmation e-mail, you can’t come to the competition.

We can’t wait to finally welcome you.

    Best regards,
    Austrian Cubing Team – Sanio

    Wow, guys it's incredible!
We reached the limit, months before the competition!

Right now, we have more than 14 people on the wating-list.
Because we reached the max competitors limit, I am able to lower the entrance fee a little bit. The fee is now 12€ per person, per day.

If you can't come for any reason, please tell me as soon as possible.
In this case, please cancle your registration in time, so you can give other people the chance to compeate.

Still have some questions left? Feel free to ask, anytime :).

    Kind Regards,

What is Austrian Open 2017?

Austrian Open 2017 is a Speedcubing Competition. Speedcubing is the activity of solving a Rubiks Cube or related puzzles as quickly as possible.

Where and when?

28-29 October 2017
Adalbert Stifter Straße 73
1200 Wien

How much does it cost?

The entrance fee will probably (!) be 12 euro per person per day. This applies to everyone (also for reporters), no matter if you are a competitor, guest, parent of a competitor or someone else! Please consider registering in advance, since it simplifies the planning for us.

For beginners...

There will be plenty of time to test the equipment (for example the official timing device, the Stackmat timer) and discuss the rules if you have questions. However, every competitor should have read the official WCA regulations at least once before attending the competition!
